Olan is a graduate from UCC with a masters degree in Drama and Theatre Studies.
Designs include: Walking Man by Jody O'Neill (Graffiti Theatre Co.),Westside Story (Cork Opera House), The Good Father (Meantime), Red Lola (Asylum), Meat by Neil O’Sullivan (Asylum), Un Ballo De Maschera by Verdi (Opera2005), Frozen by Byrony Lavery (Asylum/ Cork Opera House). Pondlife Angels (Asylum), Bedbound (Asylum), The Small Things (Granary, which he also directed), Disco Pigs (Granary), Fishy Tales (Graffiti), and Chatroom (Activate Youth Theatre) by Enda Walsh.
